How should ABB robot be inspected on a daily basis
How should ABB robot be inspected on a daily basis
1. Brake check
Before normal operation, the motor brake inspection method for each shaft shall be as follows:
(1) run the axis of each manipulator to its maximum load position.
(2) the motor mode selection switch on the robot controller is switched to the position of MOTORS OFF.
(3) check whether the shaft is in its original position. If the motor is turned off, the manipulator still maintains its position, indicating that the brake is good.
2. Risk of losing the function of decelerating operation (250mm/s)
Do not change gear ratios or other motion parameters from a computer or demonstrator. This will affect the ability to slow down (250mm/s).
3. Use the teaching device safely
An Enabling device that, when pressed halfway, turns the system into MOTORS ON mode. When the buttons are released or fully pressed, the system goes into MOTORS OFF mode. In order to safely use an instructional device, the following principles must be followed to enable the Enabling device to not lose its functionality during programming or debugging. When the robot does not need to move, it immediately disables the Enabling device.
When a programmer enters a secure area, he or she must always carry a teaching device with him or her to prevent others from moving the robot.
4, work within the working range of the manipulator
If you must work within the working range of the manipulator, please follow the following points:
(1) the mode selection switch on the controller must be switched to the manual position to operate the enabling device to disconnect the computer or operate remotely
(2) when the mode selection switch is in the position <250mm/s, the maximum speed limit is 250mm/s. When entering the workspace, the switch is usually hit to this position.
(3) pay attention to the rotating axis of the manipulator, and be careful of hair or clothes on it. In addition, pay attention to other selected parts or other equipment of the mechanical hand
(4) check the motor brakes of each shaft
